I love this game and would love it 10X more if I had missions to complete! Each plane type could have missions specific to that type of plane. For example, Commercial airline aircraft could have missions for flying passengers to other cities, lighter aircraft (Cessna, Super Decathlon, etc) could fly shorter missions to deliver cargo to specific airports within the region.

To cut back on space, you could have the flight "skew" after leaving the area and forward into the destination area where the flight would most likely enter. No sense in sitting here for 8+ hours on autopilot. The player could be advised the waypoint and altitude to go to and when that point is reached, the flight will load into the destination at the correct altitude for entering the airspace and moving into the pattern.
